Designed as a handheld 3” X 5” card that features a 1” X 4” aperture, these paper eclipse viewers provide ultimate eye protection for solar events. They completely filter out harmful ultraviolet and infrared rays, as well as block 99.999% of intense visible light. The lenses are made from innovative, scratch-resistant “Black Polymer” material that has an optical density of 5.

Using these solar eclipse viewer cards is easy. Simply read the instructions printed on the back of the card, then hold the viewer up to your eyes to see a sharp, orange-colored image of the sun. Our CE certified solar viewing eyewear designs have a minimum optical density of 5 and meet the transmission requirements for scale 12-16 of EN 169/1992, so you can view eclipses safely while enjoying the remarkable clarity that these solar eclipse viewer cards provide. Completely legitimate!

I was even able to use this to cover my nikon lens enough that I was able to safely take pictures of the eclipse. It was wonderful to KNOW that the eclipse viewing cards were legitimate. Living in Maine I had encountered two separately obtained viewers which were absolutely not safe. I was able to convince the owners of the counterfeit viewers by allowing them to use mine and see the difference for themselves. I purchased extras for this exact reason! These viewers, as all legitimate ones ,would only allow the sun to be visible through them ,unlike the counterfeit ones which allowed simple light from household lamps to be easily seen. Protect your eye health and make sure to purchase legitimate viewers such as Rainbow Symphony's.I Would recommend this company . I made sure to purchases my glasses and viewers from only sources listed on NASA's website of which there were actually only a few.

Excellent solar viewer

I bought a Rainbow Symphony solar eclipse viewer for the 2017 and was very happy with it. For the 2024 eclipse, I bought five viewers for my family members. The viewers were perfect; we saw the corona flare out very clearly, and none of us suffered eyestrain or damage.

Clarity at its best

I had Symphony solar glasses and a viewer during the total eclipse last week. I had the viewer on a lanyard and held it to my eyes periodically during the partial, but when totality was near, I laid on a small hill with my glasses and watched the last little bits of light disappear. Of course, the totality had to be viewed without, and we were so lucky to have no clouds! Symphony Rainbow products made the viewing so clear. There are no words to describe! And, sorry I didn't have the proper photo equipment to capture it. Thank you!

Solar Eclipse Viewer

Thank you! Three kindergarten classes got to enjoy the viewers for the eclipse. We will enjoy using them again and again. I loved that they came from a reputable sight so i didn’t have to worry!
